[Thank Greagor she cannot see him. For all they have not been entirely subtle, it is another matter for its mention]
It is not. Joshua is.. curiously enough, perfectly well, though he bore a significant amount of curse damage before arriving here. We have yet to understand the reason for it, and can only surmise that the Phoenix must have had a hand in a rebirth of sorts.
In terms of my own however, I am reasonably available for examination as it suits you.
[ It's not like she is at all subtle about her relationship(s) as well. So really there was no shame there, only a question. She figures if this works on Dion, then whomever else from his world is inflicted with this curse could live a normal life again. ]
Ah, so as you are Bahamut, he is the Phoenix. The others from your world, do they hold those "eikons" the same as you?
As far as availability, I do not have a strict schedule. I can meet wherever you would be most comfortable. Fortunately the majority of the damage is present in my right arm with varying patches over my chest and back.
I would like to meet up rather soon then. If only to examine you and let Miss Lioriley know what we are working with. I could also see if my magicks alone provide you any relief.
[She might also ask more of his friends. She’s never met them, but perhaps she could be of service to them too… ]
[Dion answers the door with a smile and quickly steps aside to let her in. He is proud once more that they have a spacious ground floor with which to entertain guests]
Joie. It is good to see you- and my congratulations once more on your restoration. Pray make yourself comfortable.
[She takes a moment to enjoy the spacious area of his home. Sure, she heard there were three other people living there too but that was not a reason not to feel proud of what he had.
She steps in further, taking her staff from her back and propping it against the wall.]
Thank you, it has been a long time coming. Far too many things have happened and I’ve felt far too useless.
[She smiles at him. ]
Your home is absolutely beautiful, thank you for inviting me in.
[Dion dips his head in a nod and closes the door behind her. He gives her staff a look and thinks of how often he leans his halberd up against the wall in just the same way. Mayhap they could find aught for that..]
I'm grateful for it, as only over a moon before, this had been a rather cramped residence for four- and not well-suited for guests.
[He geatures her toward the settees set around the hearth and arranged around a low square table, then excuses himself to the kitchen to pile up a tray with biscuits, tea, and all they would need besides. He returns to set it down in offer]
That’s right, you live with some of your comrades back home, right?
[And whomever might need her help too, and Miss Lioriley. She takes a look around while he’s off gathering those items. When he returns she settles at the low table. ]
Well enough, a few of these quests are…quite more dangerous than they lead to believe. But everything worked out. I’d really rather the next focus be on how I can help others now that I have been granted powers again.
[Dion nods and settles on the opposite side of the settee with a smile]
A noble aim. And in keeping with it, would you care to assess the damage before or after your tea? I can promise it is only stone and naught too terribly unsightly in terms of scarring.
[He settles back with his own cup of tea with an acquiescing hum and a brief glance toward the staircase, then returns his attention back to Joie]
It has not grown any worse to my knowledge- and I have expended much aether since my arrival here. Ordinarily, I would feel its unpleasant advance, but the curse seems inert thus far. I pray that continues to hold true.

When are you available, Ser Dion?

[She pauses to think about his question, he really does mean to host her if he’s offering the tea. ]
I’ve a fondness for herbal teas.

I appreciate you taking the time to look into this matter.

[ Since, well, she lives in a treehouse in the woods.]

If it is not terribly inconvenient. Else, we can meet where it best suits you.

[ That will be a good outing for her anyways, since she's been cooped up for a few days.
True to her word, in just a little while, Dion will hear a knock at his door. ]

You affliction hasn’t become worse here, has it? Has this place at least temporarily stopped the process of it?

[ She certainly does not claim that her own aether could fix anything, or everything. Being a white mage did have its perks.
She takes another long sip of her tea.]
