[Dion dips his head in a nod and closes the door behind her. He gives her staff a look and thinks of how often he leans his halberd up against the wall in just the same way. Mayhap they could find aught for that..]
I'm grateful for it, as only over a moon before, this had been a rather cramped residence for four- and not well-suited for guests.
[He geatures her toward the settees set around the hearth and arranged around a low square table, then excuses himself to the kitchen to pile up a tray with biscuits, tea, and all they would need besides. He returns to set it down in offer]
That’s right, you live with some of your comrades back home, right?
[And whomever might need her help too, and Miss Lioriley. She takes a look around while he’s off gathering those items. When he returns she settles at the low table. ]
Well enough, a few of these quests are…quite more dangerous than they lead to believe. But everything worked out. I’d really rather the next focus be on how I can help others now that I have been granted powers again.
[Dion nods and settles on the opposite side of the settee with a smile]
A noble aim. And in keeping with it, would you care to assess the damage before or after your tea? I can promise it is only stone and naught too terribly unsightly in terms of scarring.
[He settles back with his own cup of tea with an acquiescing hum and a brief glance toward the staircase, then returns his attention back to Joie]

[ She takes a biscuit, gently dipping it in her tea. ]
You affliction hasn’t become worse here, has it? Has this place at least temporarily stopped the process of it?

[ She certainly does not claim that her own aether could fix anything, or everything. Being a white mage did have its perks.
She takes another long sip of her tea.]
