CANON ABILITIES:
Schooled in combat, literature and matters of state, Dion was a young prodigy in military arts and literature. He left his studies and tutor for the battlefield as a teenager, then took up leadership of his own order of Holy Knights Dragoon at the age of 20. He has since fought countless battles on the Empire's behalf.

Polearm proficiency: While it's assumed Dion has reasonable skill with a sword as part of his initial training, his true martial prowess lies in the use of polearms, with his favored weapon being a halberd.

Dragoon Jump: Able to jump to ridiculous heights in a manuever that typically ends on spearpoint to skewer an enemy below.

Light-aspected magic: As the Warden of Light, Dion has access to Light magicks, which allow him to conjure light and use it as a means of attack in concentrated bolts. Can also be used to enhance physical attacks to give them a magical edge or charged-up bursts of energy.

Semi-prime:

Channeling the aether of an Eikon but falling short of a full transformation, aspects of the Eikon and its element overlay its human host. Dion (we can assume, as his semi-prime form is never really seen) grows a pair of horns, dragon wings, and a smattering of scales while scattered streaks of hair and skin shine with a pulsating turquoise hue.

Gains access to new abilities: Skill gameplay (warning for lights)

  • Flare Breath: A narrow cone of light-aspected breath deals steady damage to enemies caught within it.
  • Satellites: Conjures up to 2 orbs that shoot small bursts of light at targets in range.
  • Impulse: Several seeking balls of light surround a target or multiple targets and deal continuous damage for a short time. Follows enemies as they move.
  • Megaflare: Looses an array of lightbeams that rain down to hone in on and strike targets below. Strength depends on how long this ability is charged.
  • Gigaflare: A strong beam of light crashes into enemies its directed into for several seconds, often dealing significant damage.


Prime: Bahamut

As Bahamut's Dominant, Dion is able to transform into the massive wyrm at will. Scales steel-grey in color, this form is estimated to be somewhere around 90 feet tall from snout to claw, though his tail appears roughly three times that and his full wingspan is ridiculous- something like 1200 feet based on his model. Has spear-like protrusions for 'arms' and on his inner wings with amber markings where his power charges. Also has a third eye in the center of his head.

All semi-prime abilities are strengthened at scale. In addition:

  • Shielding: Able to conjure a ward of light over his body and/or in a sphere around himself to resist incoming attacks. The strength of the shield seems dependent on how long it's been charged before impact, as well as the strength and persistence of the opposing attack.
  • Aura Burst: Gathering energy to himself, Bahamut lights up, then implodes in a wide radius centered around himself.
  • Mortal Coil/Triple Coil: Bahamut calls up massive beams of light from impact points.
  • Quintessence: Summons a dozen large, slow, floating balls of light that detonate on contact. (Quintessence, Megaflare + Triple Coil)
  • Teraflare: Features a long charge-time that results in a gigantic and devastating explosion of light.
  • Eikonic Regrowth: Eikons can channel aether to fully regrow lost limbs and organs after only a short delay.


RP GAME ABILITIES:
◾ FULL POWER REGAIN (with nerfs): Bahamut scaled down to 15 ft. No Teraflare.
◾ MINOR LIGHT MANIPULATION: You can create small illusions with a trick of the light--not enough to fool anyone who looks close enough, but enough to cause a small distraction.
◾ DANCING LIGHTS: Create up to three orbs of light (the size of a standard lantern) to illuminate the immediate area around you.
◾ FLIGHT: The ability to fly. This comes with CUSTOM WINGS that can be any size, shape, or design that you wish. They may be hidden at will.
◾ FLYING CREATURE TRANSFORMATION: You can transform into any creature with the ability to fly (real, fantasy, mythological), as well as any powers associated with that creature. *You are not restricted to a single creature. Any creature exceeding 15ft in length or height will be scaled down accordingly.
